Fields Ranch offers 46 holes in total. Two 18-hole championship courses anchor it: Fields Ranch East, designed by Gil Hanse, and Fields Ranch West, designed by Beau Welling. Both are open to public play rather than members only.

Golf You Can Actually Play

Fields Ranch East is the tournament course and hosts the 2027 PGA Championship. Hanse designed it for strategic nuance and a traditional feel. Fields Ranch West is the more forgiving of the two, with fairways averaging roughly 75 yards wide and more than 75 feet of elevation change along Panther Creek.

Beyond the championship courses, The Swing is a lighted 10-hole par-3 short course with holes running 45 to 100 yards. The Dancefloor is a lighted two-acre putting course, among the largest natural-grass putting courses in the country.

Both are lit, which means you can play after work in the dark. That is a genuine perk of living close rather than visiting.

Things to Do in Frisco Beyond the Course

The PGA District brings dining, shopping, and programmed entertainment. Lounge by Topgolf pairs craft cocktails and local dishes with Topgolf Swing Suite technology. The Ice House is a ranch-style beer garden with six live hitting bays overlooking The Swing.

The resort adds a destination spa, several pools including an adults-only rooftop infinity pool, tennis, pickleball, and bocce. A Fields Ranch Pavilion is set to open in spring 2027 with a rooftop overlooking the driving range.
